Hair Systems for Men: A Choice for Confidence

Today, I want to talk about this one thing: should men wear hair systems? Should men wear toupees , wigs, whatever it is? The short and sweet answer is yes. Why? Why not? I was thinking about this the other day. And I get a lot of comments, though they go to spam. "Why are you wearing that? It looks like..." Even my family at one point just said, "Why are you wearing that? You should take it off." But I don't want to be bald. I don't live my life for other people and their opinion. I live my life for me, okay? That's what I do this for. So the short and sweet answer is yes, you should.

Women do a lot of other stuff besides wearing wigs. to themselves to make them look good and feel good. So why can't us men do it? It's simple. Like I said, growing up, I grew up without hair. Lost my hair when I was 16 years old. I shaved my head by 16 and a half, almost 17. And from 16 to around, what, 38, 37, bald since 37.

So I'm wearing a hair system now for about 5 years. So from 16 to around 36, 37, I was completely bald. Going through that was traumatizing because when I went out, I was young, I wanted to go do things. I would always have to wear a hat, a baseball cap, worry about dress codes and all this other nonsense. And it just didn't make any sense to me because half the time, or 99% of the time, I would have to say, "No, I'm not going," because I was embarrassed.

Now, keep in mind, these were available, going back to Hair Club for Men, going back quite a while. So I mean, Hair Systems, hair, you know, toupee wigs, whatever you want to call them, been around for a while. But back then, when I was growing up as a teenager into my early 20s and even up to my 30s, they were expensive and they weren't as available or on the market and as affordable as they are in today's market. And they keep getting notified. I should shut this thing off. But they weren't as affordable as they were now.

So, like I said, I don't want to sound like a motivational speaker or anything. But I live my life for me, as I said. The opposite sex can do whatever. My wife puts makeup on, she doesn't wear a wig. But I see a lot of females wearing wigs, wearing fake butts, fake breasts. I mean, they can do it. Why can't us guys have something, our niche, to make us feel better?

And as I said in the beginning of this video, I get comments all the time. "Take it off, take it off. What are you doing? You look stupid." And when I first started the channel, I actually wore a system, which I won't name. But it was so natural looking, people would actually say, "Why do you even have this channel? That's not even fake hair." And that made me feel good because growing up, as I said, I had no hair. So I'm thinking to myself, "Wow, that must look good because people actually think it's fake." Not fake, they actually think it's my hair.

So the point of this article, which is going to be very quick and to the point, the short and sweet answer is yes. Why not? You look at your life, trying to impress other people, why would you do that? I don't live my life for other people. As I said, I live it for me. My wife enjoys it, she doesn't mind it, even though she used to get a little irritated when I asked her to put on my tape. But I found a way to do it myself, so I don't need her. So now she's completely fine with it. And I think she was the one that even suggested, "Maybe try it, see what happens. See how you like it. If you like it, stick with it." And I am so glad that I did. Okay, I don't think I can ever go outside or go anywhere else without my hair system on because I am so used to it. I'm so used to the look, and it feels really good to have hair and not have people stare at you because you're bald.

And I know a lot of people don't really care, and I didn't care either. But my head was shaped, or my head is shaped, like here's my forehead, it would come up and it would come down, so it was almost like a little point. And I would feel ashamed and embarrassed by that. And also, I used to have a tan line from always wearing a hat. So in my opinion, having hair, letting it grow out.  And I've never in my life grew it that long. So it's, for me, it's a confidence booster and it's something that I want to do with my life.

I would encourage anyone considering options like hair transplants or SMP. However, I personally don't have enough hair for a transplant due to its inconsistent and wispy nature, especially on the sides. It wouldn't be a viable option. I value the quality of the hair and the company I use, so I stick with them.

Honestly, waking up each morning with hair brings me a lot of happiness. Technically, I am bald, but having this hair, even if it's not natural, makes a significant difference. Some may wonder why I invest so much in something that isn't mine. Well, I bought it, so it is mine. If it boosts my confidence, it's worth it. I faced similar issues with my teeth, but I got veneers and crowns, which improved my smile and self-esteem. Now, having hair contributes to my overall sense of well-being.

To those who might feel embarrassed initially, it's normal. The first time you try this, you might be self-conscious. You'll notice it, and it might feel tight, like wearing a hat. But now, I don't even feel it on my head. It's become second nature. The only time I'm aware of it is when it's itchy or when I put it on or take it off. It's a small price to pay for feeling so comfortable and confident.

This isn't about political correctness. It's about personal choice. If something boosts your confidence and makes you feel better, go for it. That's why I do it. It's for me, not for others. Some have asked why I wear a hair system, and the simple answer is it makes me feel good about myself. I can do everything with it that anyone else can do with natural hair, including swimming and sports, because I've taken precautions to ensure it's waterproof.

Occasionally, I do wear a hat, especially on bad hair days, but it's not a constant thing anymore. When I was bald, I wore a hat all the time because I was self-conscious. Now, I'm at a point where I don't worry about people staring. Do what makes you happy in life, that's the bottom line.

That's all from me. I'm eager to hear your thoughts in the comments. Do you use a hair topper ? Does it bother you what others think? Let me know. Thank you for reading. I appreciate you all, and I'll see you in the next article. Take care.
