Here, you'll find home remedies for fast hair growth. Try these before you start shopping for wigs.

Onion juice

The thought of putting onion juice in your hair is something that you're not going to be excited about. But if old folks are to be believed, this is one of the most effective hair growth remedies that you can try. Onions are rich in sulfur, which is said to be effective in boosting collagen production. Collagen is important for the production and growth of hair and skin cells. And if you're afraid that the smell of onion will stick to your hair, it won't. You just need to rinse your hair after applying the onion juice and all the onion smell will come off.

To use onion juice, you'll need a few slices of onion. And then squeeze the juice out. When you already have enough juice, just apply it on your scalp and then leave it there for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse it off with shampoo and wait for the effects.

Coconut milk

If you really can't stand the smell of onions, then maybe coconut milk is more to your liking. In some parts of the world, the coconut tree is known as the "tree of life." This is because almost all parts of the coconut tree have benefits, from the trunk to the fruit. Coconut oil is already being used by many health enthusiasts because of its numerous health benefits. People are taking it to boost their metabolism. And it is also being used as a skin and hair moisturizer.

So it's really not surprising to learn that coconut milk is good for the hair. It is rich in iron, potassium, and essential fats, all of which are needed for healthy hair growth. For best results, however, use fresh coconut milk. Avoid coconut milk that you can buy from stores. Mix the coconut milk with lemon and lavender essential oil and then apply the mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for 5 to 5 hours and then rinse it off.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another healthy food that has plenty of benefits. Some people are used to losing weight because of its metabolism-boosting effect. Some are also mixing it with water to create a tonic that provides energy and helps indigestion. ACV is also known as a natural antibiotic. It can also be seen as an ingredient in many skin-care products such as soaps.

Applying ACV directly to your skin can also do wonders. And it's actually good for the hair too. You can use it to clean your scalp. But what it actually does is that it maintains the pH balance of your hair. And that is important for your hair to grow properly. To use ACV on your hair, you need to mix 75ml of it with a liter of water. And then use the solution as a final rinse after washing your hair. This will not only help your hair to grow it will also give it a natural shine and luster.

When you buy a bottle of ACV, get a brand with the "mother" in it. The mother is the strands of protein that you can see floating on ACV.

Egg Mask

This is another home hair growth remedy that is bordering on yucky but it has been proven to work. This home remedy is popular all over the world and for good reason. It is very effective. You probably know already that eggs are rich in minerals such as zinc, sulfur, selenium, iron, iodine, and phosphorus. All of these are good for your hair and can contribute to healthy hair growth. For the egg mask though you will only need to use egg whites. And you only need one egg to make the mask.

Mix in a teaspoon of olive oil with the egg white. If you don't have olive oil then you can also use lavender oil or grapeseed oil. And then you also need to add honey to the mix. Create a paste out of the mixture and then apply the paste on your hair and scalp. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with water and shampoo.

Try any of the above home remedies for fast hair growth and watch mother nature work its magic.
