The Introduce of the Best Home Remedies for Hair Growth

Aside from medical treatments, there are also a lot of home remedies for hair growth. Hair loss is a severe problem that has to be treated through surgery or drugs if allowed to reach the termination stage. At its beginning though, you can treat this condition in natural ways, using everyday products. You can find below a list of home remedies that help stop hair loss and make your hair grow again.

1. Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a proven fighter against hair loss that has been used for years. It unclogs follicles that are full of oil impeding hair growth. It also has a role in soothing the scalp reducing the risk of infections. You need to apply aloe vera gel on your scalp several times a week, which is enough to fortify the follicles and restart the hair growth. Alternatively, you can use shampoos that contain aloe vera.

2. Castor oil

Castor oil helps your hair grow in a few ways. The first one, its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties fight scalp infections that hinder hair growth. Second, it has a lot of fatty acids that penetrate into the shaft of the hair, fixing leaks and creating a barrier for moisture. Thus, moisture stays inside the hair fiber, feeding it and preventing breakage. Furthermore, you can do a hot oil treatment, rubbing the hot castor oil into the scalp, making it absorb all nutrients that will feed the follicles fortifying their ability to keep hair in place and promote growth on new fibers.

When you apply, make sure you coat the whole strand from its root all the way down to its end. Then leave it for 15 minutes, after which rinse the oil with a mild shampoo and warm water.

3. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is another glorious fighter against hair fall. It abounds in fatty acids that penetrate the hair and impedes the loss of proteins that tend to make the hair fiber strong and natural-looking. Take two tablespoons of oil in your palm and spread it evenly on your head of hair, ensuring that each shaft of hair is coated. Coconut oil is totally inoffensive, so you can even do a leave-in treatment, leaving the oil on your hair overnight. You can also apply it several hours before your hair wash, using a mild shampoo to rinse it off.

4. Onion juice

Onion juice has a valuable component called sulfur that has a role in strengthening hair fibers by recovering damaged follicles, making the hair resistant to breakage. Additionally, sulfur promotes the production of collagen, which in turn is responsible for triggering hair growth and producing new skin cells. An onion juice treatment is simple. Just squeeze an onion for juice and soak a cotton pad in the juice. Then, trace the cotton pad all the way down the scalp and hair and leave it for 30 minutes.

Once the time is up, use a mild shampoo to wash the juice off. Do the treatment twice a week until you feel that your hair has become stronger and the hair regrowth process has recovered.

5. Green tea

Drinking green tea can help you regrow your hair. The polyphenols contained in green tea promote the production of new dermal papilla cells that are known to be a proven stopper of hair loss. Drink a cup of green tea once or twice a day to make the battle against hair fall more efficient.

It is the only remedy in our list that is used orally, which means that it gets into your bloodstream. If you are intolerant of caffeine or take blood-thinning drugs, you are encouraged to avoid drinking green tea and choose other home remedies for hair growth mentioned above.

To conclude, if you address hair loss in its early stages, you can treat it using less offensive, less expensive and less time-consuming methods that include natural products that are always at hand or can be easily found in stores. Some of the most efficient home remedies for hair regrowth are aloe vera that unlocks follicles speeding up hair growth, coconut and castor oil rich in fatty acids that keep proteins inside hair fiber and feed the follicles, onion juice filled with sulfur that produces collagen and healthy skin cells, and green tea whose polyphenols stimulate follicles to grow more hair.
