European Hair Vs. Remy Human Hair

We'll keep the groovy shift dress and suede boots, but wigs have come a long way since the days of ultra-brassy synthetic wigs popularized by the quintessential 60s bombshell. However, not all wigs are created the same. There are synthetic, European, virgin, and Remy options. Which one is best for you? Unfortunately, finding the right wig can be difficult. A quick search for a natural wig will find many options that can be confusing, anxious, and even further away from your ideal hair.

Don't worry, and we've broken it all down for you in this guide! You've probably heard of Remy, virgin, and 100 percent human hair or European, but are they all the same thing? The simple answer is no. Continue reading to get the long answer (and your best hair ever).

Types of Hair

The hair types in this industry are simply divided into Indian hair, Chinese hair, and European hair based on the country or region from which the hair materials are sourced.

Introduction

"We thought European hair was of the highest quality."

There are many different types of human hair. Which is the most effective? Which one should be used for a personalized hairpiece? In this blog post, we will investigate the two hair materials and compare them.

European hair

European hair has the shortest supply and the highest prices. A gleaming appearance and soft textures characterize European hair. It has the thinnest and softest hair of the three. Hair materials are frequently available in a variety of colors.

Extensions of European Hair

This hair should not be confused with 'Euro grade' or 'European type.' If you can find it, virgin European hair is stunning. It shares many characteristics with virgin Russian hair but is slightly finer. Why is it so difficult to locate? Because women from Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries aren't lining up to sell their hair. I went to the largest hair warehouse in Spain, only discovering that even their stock was extremely limited. The majority of the European hair they had in stock was only available in short lengths. It was most likely gathered from hair salons and used to create wigs and hairpieces.

Remy Hair

When looking at hair extensions, the term "Remy" will appear frequently. It has nothing to do with the origin of the hair; it simply means that all of the hairs are running in the same direction – from root to tip. So, do you think it's good hair? Both yes and no. Allow me to explain. You know precisely what you're getting if you see hair described as double drawn, Remy, virgin, or Russian hair (in theory). However, simply labeling the hair as "Remy" intentionally obscures the seller. In other words, I don't want to know what that hair is. Why is that so? You'd either not buy it if you knew, or they couldn't charge as much. Don't get me wrong, you want Remy's hair, but consider this: all good hair is Remy, but not all good Remy hair is the Remy.

Difference between European hair and Remy's hair.

Remy's hair is human ponytail hair with one direction cuticle, but it can be dyed or treated. "Human scalp hair is considered 100% human hair and may have come from hairdressing floors, brushes, and even corpses.

European hair is the hair that should be kept in the "top to root" direction. Most importantly, the hairs are unprocessed and have not been subjected to any chemical treatments. It is both healthy and long-lasting. Even after numerous washings, it retains a high level of luster.

Remy's hair is also less healthy than virgin hair. Remy's hair should be kept in the "top to root" direction. The strands are simply treated with a light chemical treatment. It is also healthy and long-lasting.

Each European person's hair has a unique texture, such as thickness and softness. Darker European hair is typically thicker, while lighter European hair is thinner.

Furthermore, due to the chemical treatment, Remy hair can be more soft, silky, and thin than European hair.

Remy Hair is also a good choice if you want soft, silky, and thin hair texture. Of course, if you simply wish for healthy, long-lasting hair, a European Hair toupee is ideal. You can also mark "soft silk and thin European Hair" to indicate the preferred European Hair texture.

How do I select the best hair type for custom orders?

  • There is no doubt that European hair material is of the highest quality. However, after a series of chemical treatments, the hair root may be damaged due to the thin character, which cannot afford such heavy chemical treatments. As a result, European hair is not the best choice for orders that require bleaching and dyeing.
  • Some features should be kept in mind before choosing a hair type.
  • Acid Treatment: European Slight and Remy Slight Mild
  • Wavy/Curly: Both are suitable for small strands of curl
  • Bleaching/ dyeing: Remy hair can withstand, but European hair can’t.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there is no simple answer to which hair type is best for a hair system. European hair is the best raw material in quality, softness, and shine, especially for the European market. Remy Hair is collected directly from the heads of donors, ensuring that the cuticles of the Remy Hair are all pointing in the same direction. A simple way to tell the difference between Remy and Non-Remy hair is to look for a hair follicle at the end of the hair. There will be no black dots at the tip of the Remy Hair. Colour, curl/wave, production processes, and even the final price level are important factors. However, the team at salons is ready to provide you with free consultations and assistance in making the best decisions to meet your needs. So, try to go for the best which suits you and your scalp.
